For those who have taken Marie Kondo’s advice and learned to live with less, these bedrooms showcase the chic side of minimalism.

WHITE OUT

The design team, consisting of BBH Design Studio and South Winds Construction Corp., carved a horizontal window strip in the master bedroom, drawing attention to Petite Friture’s Vertigo pendant. Sangiacomo’s king-size Ecletto bed and Cattelan Italia’s Rubik rug are from Addison House. A West Elm velvet swivel chair completes the serene space. (Tour the home.)

NATURAL WARMTH

A soothing neutral palette, sculptural furnishings and textural materials add richness to the master bedroom. A chunky, braided-wool rug by RH brings warmth and coziness to the space, while the modular Agnes chandelier by Lindsey Adelman is an angular counterpoint. A feeling of centeredness is underscored by the low-slung Capo armchairs by Neri & Hu for De La Espada, which feature wide-set walnut bases. (Tour the home.)

BLOCKED OUT

“We needed a very crisp, bright white to bounce light around,” says designer Kristin Lomauro-Boom of the hue chosen for the master bedroom. A mohair-upholstered bed from Lee Industries anchors the space. At the foot is the clients’ tufted bench; beneath is a Niba Designs rug. Above is a light from Urban Archaeology. The windows throughout the home were supplied by Hope’s Windows and Doors. (Tour the home.)

TRANQUIL VIEWS

The master bedroom ceiling is paneled in cedar, and the floor is covered in Masland’s Mesa Verde carpet in Rain Dance. The bed is dressed in custom linens and throw pillows from HW Home. Cornering the Benson U Turn armchair, glass doors open the space to wraparound decks and views of Red Mountain and Hunter Creek Valley in Aspen, Colorado. (Tour the home.)

GETTING SOME SHUT-EYE

A Fornasetti face pillow gets some shut-eye on the B&B Italia Charles bed. Framed paintings by Jens Jensen, Mantis sconces by Bernard Schottlander and rosewood nightstands by Ib Kofod-Larsen complete the scene. (Tour the home.)

SWEET DREAMS

Creating a peaceful, serene environment drove architect Eric Olsen’s concept for the master bedroom. Bocci pendants from Lumens Light + Living flank the custom platform bed. The lounge chairs on the adjacent terrace are from Gloster; the table is from Teak Warehouse. (Tour the home.)

ASIAN INSPIRATION

Chai Ming Studios’ Avalon bed and Lenox nightstand in cerused walnut, both from Gary Lee Studios, lend a modern, serene look to the master bedroom. Bedding is by Muse Bespoke; the bedside light is Porta Romana’s mouth-blown Lava lamp in Honey. The husband picked up the vintage Asian folding screen displayed over the bed at auction. (Tour the home.)

SEASIDE SERENITY

For the polished master bedroom, which opens onto a balcony with clear ocean views, designers Carola Hinojosa and Sabrina MacLean turned to Holly Hunt for the bed, headboard, leather bench, rug and bedside tables. The crisp white-and-beige bedding is by Privilegio Milano, and the frosted-glass vases are by Minotti. (Tour the home.)

PERFECTLY ZEN

A calming palette in the master bedroom encourages relaxation and positive energy. The furnishings include a Pianca bedside table and a Couture armchair from BD Barcelona Design, both from BeDesign. Pablo Designs pendant lighting is from YLighting. The Udo Noger painting is from Laura Rathe Fine Art. (Tour the home.)

HAVE YOU ANY WOOL?

The master bedroom was designed to be a “serene, modern space,” interior designer Jenny Vorhoff says. The custom Dune bed features Moore & Giles leather from Angela Brown and linens from Stella. It is paired with a Magni Home Collection bench from Jean de Merry. The vintage lamps are from Craig Van Den Brulle, and the chandelier is Lindsey Adelman. The custom Victoria Hagan rug is from Holland & Sherry, as is the wool that lines the walls. (Tour the home.)

A DREAM IN CREAM

Another large-scale artwork by Ashley Collins from Forre & Co. hangs in the master bedroom, where designers Noelle Hernandez and Nicole Stewart placed a Magni Home Collection bed from Town. The bed’s leather upholstery and the leather-and-bronze bench are both by Holly Hunt; the pendant is also Magni Home Collection from Town. (Tour the home.)

SUBTLE COLOR

A guest bedroom offers a serene retreat with a subdued palette thanks to the Addison House nightstands and bed, dressed in crisp Pratesi linens. The soft blue Roche Bobois rug and lamps refer to the reflecting pools around the property and the waterway at its edge. (Tour the home.)

GRAYSCALE

The minimalist master bedroom focuses attention on the views through the windows. Designer Stephanie Zaharias designed the upholstered bed with an ebony frame and textiles by Calvin Fabrics. Its integrated side tables were fabricated by Mark Brady Cabinets. The bed is made up with a duvet by Area and shams made of Romo fabric. The Jensen Bergere chair near the window is by Minotti.
