It’s nearly impossible to keep up with all the new openings, closings and “we’re moving” signs in New York City. But all that bustle is one of the great things about living in Manhattan, right? Luckily, amidst the changes, there’s a roster of new digs in the design realm.

In February, Bungalow 5 (45 E. 20th St., Floor 2) swung open the doors to its new 5,000-square-foot store and showroom in the Gramercy neighborhood. A month later, one of Scandinavia’s best-known brands, Carl Hansen & Son (251 Park Ave. S., 13th Floor), shown above, welcomed guests to its new Flatiron showroom, a 7,659-square-foot facility in a prewar building.

Also, Brazilian brand Ornare (150 E. 58th St.) made its New York debut in the A&D Building, filling a fourth-floor 3,267-square-foot space with high-end kitchen, bath and closet designs.

And down in SoHo, Calligaris (55 Thompson St.) opened a storefront in March for its contemporary home furnishings and accessories in good company.
