What To Expect At B&B Italia’s New Flagship In Dallas

Details

B&B Italia, the contemporary Italian furniture manufacturer, continues to bring its version of la dolce vita to the Lone Star State. In exciting news for aficionados who are part of the north Texas design community, the innovative company, founded in 1966, has unveiled a newly renovated flagship store in the heart of the Dallas Design District.

Clients and customers will now be able to browse a sprawling 6,000-square-foot showroom reimagined to showcase a wide selection of impeccable pieces created by internationally known superstars, including Gaetano Pesce, Mario Bellini and Zaha Hadid.

Iconic B&B Italia silhouettes as well as newer furnishings will be offered, such as designer Piero Lissoni’s Asian soybean-inspired Eda-Mame chair (above) and the braided Bay sofa (below), which is part of a collection that Nipa Doshi and Jonathan Levien designed for B&B Italia Outdoor. The Maxalto indoor and outdoor line, which the company launched in 1975 with a focus on precious materials and superb craftsmanship, will also be on view and available.

The revamped Dallas showroom provides further evidence that the well-respected brand continues to integrate itself as a go-to resource in a city that’s becoming ever more smitten with contemporary design. And with the opening of two additional showrooms, now located in Austin and Houston, the company has taken steps to further amplify its Texas exposure while increasing its total number of U.S. stores to 12.
