Tucked into the heart of the Art Deco District, The Betsy South Beach, an iconic Miami hotel, recently unveiled a dazzling expansion and renovation.
The property now boasts 130 guest rooms featuring 25 suites, world-class dining, special event space and an expansive rooftop terrace complete with a swimming pool and sprawling views. The boutique property connects to what was once the Carlton Hotel through an architectural passageway called the “Orb.”
Miami-based architecture firm Shulman + Associates, in partnership with the original interior designers of The Betsy South Beach, Diamante Pedersoli Design and Carmelina Santoro Designs, refreshed the landmark hotel while staying true to its original Art Deco and Florida-Georgian architecture.
