The power of design is in your hands, thanks to the new Carl Hansen & Son x Edelman Leather collection.
The Scandinavian furniture company and luxury leather brand have joined forces to present made-to-order pieces with colors inspired by nature.
Launching Sept. 1, the collection includes six Hans J. Wegner-designed chairs, plus one footstool, available in six leather hues.
Flecked with metallics, natural colors like green, ecru and brown — plus, bold options like Fiesta Orange and Primrose Yellow — combine with natural wood in black, white, mint green and olive green to yield 129 possible design combinations.
The pieces — which range from $899 to $11,692 — will be available through December.
An additional bonus? The two companies are simultaneously launching a to-the-trade collection called Kaleidoscope.
Inspired by the idea that design transforms over time, the collection provides the same customizable options, in a variety of bold leathers, to design pros.
