CB2 has launched its first vintage collection of one-of-a-kind pieces.

Curated by designer Charlie Ferrer, the items were sourced from vintage dealers, shops and galleries across Europe, with the team focusing on finds that have a rich sense of history and an air of sophistication.

“We wanted to make sure the assortment was highly curated and not just something you’d find at any random flea market,” said CB2 President Ryan Turf. “It’s an eclectic mix from many periods and designers–not just Scandi, not just midcentury Italian–that all still works together and connects.”

With pieces ranging from $60 to $11,500, the line includes studio pottery, chairs, desks, lighting and coffee tables from France, Italy and Germany. An array of pieces from the CB2 x Ferrer collection will be available for purchase in select CB2 stores starting March 14.

The brand’s foray into offering vintage pieces emerged with the objective of empowering its customer base “to be collectors and edit their own [homes] in new and informed ways,” Turf explained. To help carry out that mission, the company reached out to Ferrer, who has been celebrated as a force to watch in the industry.

“It was important to us that the pieces have provenance so we needed a partner that understood the hunt and is an expert in the field,” Turf said. “Each piece is a special, interior designer-selected treasure.”

While plans for another vintage collection aren’t necessarily in the works, CB2 isn’t closing the door on the opportunity. “We’re not ruling anything out, and are excited to see how this particular assortment is received,” Turf said.
