Get ready for a dreamy collaboration spotlighting notable talents from the fashion and home worlds.

With Christie’s upcoming Interiors Auction as inspiration, Alexandra O’Neill’s fashion brand Markarian and interior designer CeCe Barfield Thompson teamed up for an exclusive homewares and dress collection available at Bergdorf Goodman throughout September.

O’Neill’s ethereal and feminine frocks have been a favorite of fashion editors and the Uptown set. Her romantic aesthetic finds an effortless counterpart in Thompson’s classic, neo-traditional interiors. Their combined sensibilities create a dreamy lifestyle collection for entertainers and fashionistas alike.

“Imagine having the perfect hostess ensemble where you can have the dress that matches your linens, that matches your china and crystal,” says O’Neill.

Set for August 21-22, the auction — for which the duo will serve as guest tastemakers — features 495 lots of furniture, decorative objects and fine art. Dutch Delft blue accents, Italian marble plant stands and antique floral fabrics were just a few of the pieces that inspired the designer’s direction.

“The Interiors sales are inspiring beyond the objects themselves,” says Thompson of the event. “They represent an old world sensibility that Ali and I both hope to evoke with our designs.”
