CB2 just secured another design-savvy partner.

The fashion-forward home decor brand teamed up with Los Angeles retailer Fred Segal — known for its classic colors, denim and vintage-inspired looks — for a new collection that features 34 furniture pieces, rugs, desk accessories, and more.

The overall theme? Venice Beach in the 1960s.

A glass table with a bronze pineapple base, along with a rainbow-shaped wall mirror and a palm tree-inspired floor lamp all underscore the line’s West Coast vibe.

“We wanted to ensure that this collaboration with CB2 would strike the right balance between their typically modern design and our laid-back California approach,” says Fred Segal president John Frierson, whose favorite pieces include the shag rugs.

Prices range from $3.50 for adorable washi tape in Fred Segal’s classic blue, red, and white, to $1,499 for a daybed that’s practically meant for a lazy Sunday binge-watching session.

Other playful items include a selection of pillows reminiscent of your favorite pair of jeans.

“During the design process, materials were selected by the Fred Segal team pulling what inspired them most, with denim being the major call-out,” CB2 Managing Director Ryan Turf says. “Denim from L.A. is some of the best and most exciting in the world, and we’re excited to have incorporated it into key pieces from the collection.”

Purchase one statement piece, or go all out. After all, Turf explains the goal of the collection was to inspire different applications and uses of the items.

“We wanted to design a collection that would inspire our customers to create an environment of creativity and expression as well as comfort,” he says.
