The ladies behind Loot Vintage Rentals are stepping up their game.
Yes, Texas’ largest vintage rental and event styling company is rebranding as Loot Rentals to emphasize its various mix of design-forward offerings. But there’s an added bonus: Founders Anna Crelia and Rhoda Brimberry are also introducing a new line — Loot Finer Goods — that will be accessible to fans beyond the Austin area.
After six years in the biz, the sisters-in-law are using their keen eyes for design to curate a small batch home goods collection with everything from handmade items to found and refurbished furniture.
The collection will be available online on Sept. 5. (Spoiler: A favorite of the line is a 1960s Kontiki sofa set designed by Arne Norell for Arne Norell AB in Sweden.)
Crelia and Brimberry’s combined skill set has allowed them to be a part of milestone events for their clients. In fact, the company sprouted from the planning of Crelia’s wedding. As the story goes, the women had a vision that hinged on finding unique, beautiful items for the big day. In February 2011, they started helping other brides make their dreams reality.
“People have always loved our method of fusing old vintage furniture frames with vintage textiles such as army tents and Turkish rugs to create fresh new pieces to enjoy and inspire,” the pair explains. “We built this line with love much like we have our rental collection and look forward to sharing that love with those who desire to incorporate the ‘Loot Look’ and feel inside their spaces.”
