Inside 3 Homes Located In NYC’s Most Upscale Buildings

ARCHITECTURE + DESIGN | BY | October 2, 2019

In their first monograph, New York Contemporary, architect Thomas Hickey and interior designer Edward Yedid of GRADE New York take readers on a tour of seven luxurious apartments throughout the city. Located in some of Manhattan’s most upscale buildings, these homes reflect the design firm’s dedication to creating spaces in a sophisticated and artistic manner. Ahead of the book’s October 8 release, Luxe takes a peek at three of the featured apartments.

TRIBECA LOFT

This loft, located inside a former bookbindery built in 1882, celebrates the client’s love of art and design while honoring the landmark’s historic roots.

WEST VILLAGE

For New York-based clients who frequently travel internationally, GRADE New York conceived of a space inspired by both Asian and European influences.

UPPER EAST SIDE

Looking to design a retreat from the chaos of city life for their clients, GRADE New York utilized a light color palette in this apartment to create spaces that are both serene and inviting.
