When did you open your doors?
Our new boutique, Rani Arabella, debuted at the Royal Poinciana Plaza in November. Opening a shop in Palm Beach is like coming full circle for the company, whose humble beginnings sprang from the second story of a building on South County Road.
Your exclusive scarf has caused quite the buzz.
The Palm Beach Scarf is limited to this location. A dramatic, oversize silk-and-cashmere background features a hand-drawn map of Palm Beach, painstakingly illustrated over a two-year period.
What is the design process like for your other offerings?
It’s long and extremely detailed. All colors, fabrics and trims for pillows, throws and apparel are made by the leading Italian fabric mills exclusively for Rani Arabella.
Walk us through the store.
The interior, which combines Italian and midcentury aesthetics, captures the brand’s core essence of timeless style. Custom-made Italian terrazzo floors, brass inlays and suspended stone slab shelves juxtapose warm, white-oak paneled walls sculpted to evoke the easy elegance of cashmere.
