Before stepping inside the new RH West Palm Beach, where a blend of gallery-meets-shop-meets-restaurant awaits, visitors will notice the structure’s statement-making facade.

At first glance, the building is seemingly covered in the archaic language of a long-lost empire, but upon closer inspection, it reveals itself as a stunning 70-by-140-foot mural installation by Los Angeles-based artist Retna.

“RH West Palm Beach is an 80,000-square-foot architectural masterpiece that is an integration of food, wine, art and design that reflects our quest to revolutionize physical retailing,” says Gary Friedman, chairman and CEO of the brand, which opened the outpost in November.

Inside, the gallery features four floors housing the brand’s distinct genres–interiors, modern, baby and child, teen and outdoor–as well as the RH Design Atelier. The structure caps off with a rooftop park and cafe, offering fresh menu items, with a glass-and-steel atrium. It is this seamless transition from retail to culinary that keeps patrons coming back for more.

“Our standards are first and foremost simplicity, consistency, generosity and a level of professionalism and familiarity,” says Brendan Sodikoff, chef, restaurateur and founding president of RH Hospitality.

Twinkling chandeliers and bubbling fountains continue to set the tone at the RH Wine Vault and RH Pantry & Barista Bar, where wine, espresso and doughnuts are always on the menu.
