Must-Attend Fall Events Throughout Chicago
There’s no shortage of cultural offerings in a world-class city like Chicago. For the design obsessed, here are a few of our favorites.
From September 7-8, the River North Design District will host its fourth annual Fall Gallery Walk, where the city’s most celebrated talents will display art (below) and design vignettes in participating showrooms.
From September 21-23, attendees of the American Craft Exposition at the Chicago Botanic Garden can browse the work of more than 140 artisans across a dozen mediums–including furniture, glass, jewelry, leather, metal and mixed media.
And finally, during Design Chicago from October 3-4, industry professionals will have the chance to visit luxury showrooms at theMart unveiling new products in kitchen, bath and home furnishings.
Mark your calendars for 2019: The Chicago Architecture Biennial (above) will offer programs, exhibitions and installations from artists and architects throughout the world that highlight creativity and innovation in both design and architecture.
