“My grandmother always knew I would have a flower shop one day,” says Megan Carollo, owner and lead designer of Flower Bar. “She was right.” Before opening her Old Town Scottsdale shop in 2012, Carollo spent years apprenticing with florists across the country. Eclectic sources such as gardens and architecture inspire her. In 2017, she expanded her emporium, creating what she says is “a unique, botanically inspired floral studio, full of pieces by awesome Arizona artists and objects inspired by Mother Nature.” She also added a workshop space that allows her to share her passion for flowers with customers who want to learn about arranging. Grandma would have approved.
