Check In: Hotel Zaza Memorial City

There was little question the new Hotel ZaZa Memorial City–the third from the Texas boutique hotel brand–would be splashy, plush and theatrical. (The midnight rendezvous message is clear at the Dallas Uptown and Houston Museum District locations.) Needless to say, Houston’s Kirksey Architecture and Dallas-based Duncan Miller Ullmann didn’t disappoint when designing the new stay’s 159 rooms, which boast eyebrow-raising art and lavishly upholstered low-slung furnishings. Eight themed Magnificent Seven Suites are also designed to transport guests to different locales, from the beach to France and India. Don’t want to leave? Hotel ZaZa offers 133 luxury apartments as well.
